Chargers Rout Bulldogs in First Win of the Football Season

The Clark football team took its first win this season in Friday’s home non-conference game against Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV) with a score of 49-26. The Chargers scored an impressive seven touchdowns to take the win.
The Chargers were led by senior Aquantay Morris, who scored a whopping four touchdowns to help take down the Bulldogs. Morris averaged 8.4 yards per carry on seventeen carries for a total 143 yards and two touchdowns on the ground, and also caught four passes for 95 yards and two touchdowns receiving. Morris also had ten total tackles, a sack, and a forced fumble on defense.
On offense, juniors Isaiah Veal and Isaiah Bigby also caught a touchdown apiece – all four passing touchdowns were thrown by senior Justin Aguilar, who went 16/29 for a total 277 yards with a strong 113.1 passer rating. Kobe Mosley, the team’s only freshman, also racked up 45 yards and a touchdown on the ground.
On defense, Bigby led the team with seventeen total tackles, and Senior Bren Camacho led the team with two sacks for 6 yards lost. Veal also picked off the opponent quarterback to help keep the Bulldogs from putting up points.
The Chargers play the Dragons on 9/8 at 7:00pm at Del Sol High School.
