Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year, Clark Chargers! We know that the summer probably felt very long and that school isn’t quite what we all expected it to be, but we hope you are all as excited as we are to start the new school year.

Clark’s building may be far away, but that does not mean that the students, teachers, and Clark spirit that we know and love has gone too. If anything, it is more important than ever to show our school spirit, especially with an incoming freshman class that has never gotten to step foot into Clark. 

If you guys are like me, I’m sure you have struggled with technology in this first week. Even with those of us who have used Canvas previously, adjusting to the online environment has been difficult. Still, as Chargers, I know we will all adjust quickly to the new system.

One of the most important things to remember is that, even online, clubs are still going. Make sure to pay attention to any club announcements, join their Reminds, and stay up to date.

This new school year is full of changes, but what never does change is how overwhelming the beginning of the year can be. My most important piece of advice: make sure to stay self-motivated, even though you are not sitting in a classroom. It might be easy to fall behind, but if you work as hard as you can and stay up to date on your assignments, you’ll have a great time.
