After former Principal Antonio Rael and Assistant Principal Christina Bentheim’s removal in early December, Clark has been waiting for almost two months for our new principal. While School Associate Superintendent Sam Scavella has been acting principal since their removal, Clark’s SOT and the Superintendent’s Office have been working on selecting Rael’s replacement. Clark’s new principal, Kerry Larnerd, was introduced to Clark staff earlier today.

Mrs. Larnerd is the former principal of Southeast Career Technical Academy and was the Director of CCSD’s Career Tech Education department.

This new appointment comes in the midst of multiple controversial articles about Mr. Rael released by the Review Journal and KNTV.
